Back with another exceptional 2020 single, The Staves’ ‘Satisfied’ is an impressive, ethereal track. While melodies and harmony are presented in full force, there is something about the texture of this new track that takes centre stage. Layered voices, multiple guitars and a beautiful, synth-assisted build guide us to a truly mesmerising conclusion. The track “is asking its subject - will they ever be satisfied with what they have? Is it ever enough? But also urging them not to give up on themselves, and love,” the band explain. ‘Satisfied’ is taken from their upcoming third album, Good Woman, which is due for release on February 5^th 2021, while the band are playing Earth in Hackney on December 17^th. -Dan Peeke
